The World Cup is a time for many nations around the world come together to enjoy the great sport of football(soccer). During this event the "best" players and teams of the world compete. But not just them, the supposedly best referees are also called up. But during this World Cup these referees have been making alot of bad calls. And here are the top 5. So far...

1) USA's goal against Slovenia.. that did not count.

To this day, no one still has any idea who committed the foul during the US-Slovenia match

The referee called a foul in favor of the Slovenia team. But after watching the video replay no foul is seen. In fact the foul should of been in favor of the US. No one can question the referee after the game so I guess only he will know what he called.

2) Luis Fabiano's double hand ball during Brazil vs Ivory Coast

Well it is ok for referee's to miss a hand-ball once in a while. This referee missed two in a matter of 6 seconds! Someone please get these guys some glasses.

3) Frank Lampard's goal in the England vs. Germany game

Although England lost 4-1 their disallowed goal, that would of tied it 2-2 at the half, would of at least motivated the team.

In soccer a ball has to cross the line completely in order for it to be considered a goal. This ball hit the crossbar and backspin towards the inside of the goal before hitting the crossbar once again and heading out of the goal.

Most balls that backspin are very difficult to call. But in this case the ball was not on the line or barely crossing the line. It was clearly a good couple of inches inside the goal.

Nonetheless, Germany would of won with a score of 4-2.

4)Tevez!

A few hours after England got robbed of their goal Carlos Tevez scores a goal on Mexico while being offsides. Tevez was not offsides by a few inches but by a few yards.

Argentina won 3-1.

5) Shitty call on Kaka'

During the Ivory Coast vs. Brazil game Kaka' was given a red card for a foul he did not commit. Towards the end of the game Ivory Coast defender Abdelkader Keita made a real desperate move in order to get Kaka ejected out of the game. He approached Kaka and then fell to the ground acting as if Kaka hit him in the face. Worst of all the referee believed it and gave Kaka a second yellow, which is immediately a red card.

I nominate Keita for an Oscar. Best actor of the year.
